The Bodhi Tree Café is a serene dining experience located at 1938 Adams Ln., Sarasota in authentic “Old Florida”. Towles Court Art District is where styles and mediums of all kinds come together to provide the art enthusiast an encounter to remember. Proprietors Oscar and Carolina Revelli are themselves artists with many talents that have together provided this art community with a quiescent spot to have lunch with a business associate or share a special dinner with friends and family.

If preparing the most fabulous meals was not enough, Chef Oscar is gifted in photography which you can experience as you walk through the café. A display of wildlife and architecture abounds the walls. Wildlife is considered to be one of the more challenging forms of photography requiring the photographer to operate stealthily which carry overs to his cooking techniques.

Carolina, also of Contessa Jewels, enhances the atmosphere with her custom jewelry adding to the ambience of the café. Having a passion to support community, her jewelry can be found at charity events supporting organizations such as Big Brother Big Sister and The Humane Society.

The Bodhi Tree offers seating indoors to experience a warm and cozy atmosphere of a friendly hangout. If you want to appreciate the outdoors within the comfort of some shelter, the veranda will keep you covered while still providing the feel of the outdoors. For a diner wishing for the full outdoor experience, the picturesque garden is where you will find yourself listening to the bubbling water as a sense of peace runs over you.

Bringing together a wide array of Italian and Mediterranean fare, the lunch menu of Bruschetta, Dippers, Flatbread, Panini, Pastas, Inspired Salads, and Spiedini Kabob will be sure to please the most discerning of appetites. Dinners will change with availability of food due to Chef Oscars choice of using locally sourced ingredients. Chef specialties include Eggplant Parmasean and Occo buco.

Alternative choices are available for the diner with specific nutrition needs. If you are seeking to limit flours and starches or have a gluten intolerance be sure to let your server know. A salad may be substituted for the grain portion or a gluten free pasta is offered as well.

To whet your appetite, a selection of beer and organic wine is available. Make sure you end the night with a sweet taste in your mouth from a fine house made dessert selection.
